Where can I study while the library is being renovated?

Answer:

There are multiple places across campus where you can study while the OWHL is closed for renovation.

Throughout the renovation, the lower left hall of Paresky Commons will serve as the temporary library and a quiet study hall. This is where you can come to check out book, get help from Instructional Librarians, and study. Plans include seats for about 90 students at once and we hope this space will be like a de facto Garver Room. Lower left will remain open throughout the day and have the normal hours of the OWHL.

At night during study hours, the upper left hall of Paresky Commons will be open for quiet study.

Additional dedicated study spaces will be made available in the Underwood room and Mail Room areas.

We also encourage you to consider the beautiful study spaces available to you in the evenings at the Peabody Institute of Archeology and the Addison Gallery.
